I suppose if you NEED a job there might be worst options out there but you are probably better off working 50 hours a week anywhere else.Mint is a popular budgeting app that regularly finds itself on best budgeting lists. I did love working with clients, and riding bikes. And you are expected to "volunteer" on some Sundays. Place is TOXIC!! You have to work Saturdays 8:30am-5. You arent allowed to work with other depts to resolve client issues or even speak to anyone beyond a hello. Had to go to HR just to get my scheduled days off and there is zero follow through if you ask for any time off or advancements. The sales are down from year to year.and I was outselling my peers or at least selling as much and still couldnt scratch out a future at Old Glory. The position is literally pre 13th amendment slavery wages, they pay you 400 per week and no overtime. I tried to make the best of a bad situation and there really is no upside here. You have to ask permission to go to lunch!! Bullying, screaming, hostile work environment. Wonderful coworkers (God bless their souls) on the sales team, but management was awful. Sold 2, 6, and 2.5 bikes during those 3 months. I was in sales and worked the sales floor March, April and May.
Although the company/manager tried to say I quit to avoid paying unemployment. Horrible! Run!! what a miserable experience, so happy to be fired from position.
